That's cool that you and your daughter go in the pit. I'm actually amazed that a parent is succesfully able to raise kids to be metalheads. I always dreamed of doing that with kids of my own but I always believed the theory that kids don't find cool what their parents like. Kind of kids being the oppopsite or at least very different from the parents when it comes to music and such. I guess that the young ones are keepign metal alive these days just like the metal generations before them. This is good. Even though alot of people are close minded in metal and think older metal=better and newer metal=worse. Yes, this is true in some cases but we have to remember that in ever golden metal age of each genre we had the gods and the...well sucky ass bands. I don't see Iron Maiden fans being proud of Stryper. In spite of that concept, I appreciate metal new and old. I really am annoyed with the mallgoth Tripp Pants walking Hot Topic billboards that say "I hate metal from the 80's, it sounds so gay and the voices sound like bitches." Well these people need to die and never EVER call themselves a metal head because besides Black Sabbath, Dio, Iron Maiden, etc. they must not of heard of Sepultura, Slayer, Morbid Angel, etc. who are also from the 80's, but yet they happen to be wearing a Slayer shirt. See people like them are the ones I hate and unfortunately all the labeled "metal heads" at my school accept I are those kind of posers. Theres nothing more I hate than when one of those people try to chant to me about metal without even knowing me and they get my wrath as I show that they don't know shit, they're fucking posers, and they aren't metal to the slightest bit. Usually them going by my words and telling others whatever I teach them as they had this knowledge on their own is usually how it goes in their attempt to try to be "metal". Ity comes down to this, if you have to try to be "metal" than you aren't "metal". Well anyways sorry about me always getting off topic leaving a long ass rant as a comment, but hey I'm sure we both agree it's better than reading any of the posts in the forum.

Metal can be your salvation but I would say a mosh pit would be true salvation getting all that stress off in the pit. I don't know if you do that though, but I enjoy going in the pit. Adrenaline rushes are great at metal shows. I also do some crowd surfing at Croc also when it's overpacked with people. I occasionally get pissed of when I don't notice a crowd surfer is approaching and end up having them bend my spine out of shape more than it already is. Skoliosis can ruin the fun in pits but adrenaline takes all the pain away, especially when you're actually getting slammed in the pits. So do any of your nine kids enjoy listening to metal music or are they more on the modern day side of music for the youth (rap). If so do you ever bring alot of your kids with you or any usually?

Yea I agree it would be cool to mmet someone from the board. Due to the big turnouts at the majority of metal shows at Croc I'm suprised that I haven't passed by one person living relatively around me at all besides you. Well that's cool that you take your daughter with you to shows, I too will be doing that one day. 9 kids! How the hell is that possible to not go insane raising all of them? So how many are boys/girls, what are their ages, names. (Sorry for bein nosey but it's something to talk about besides the spammer posts but you don't have to answer personal questions like that if you wish not to)

I was considering the Type O Negative show but I still need to decide. It's just because I haven't listened to them in a long time and am wondering if I can still get into them again. I didn't find the time to listen to them in a long time since I've been hit by other masses of music. I remember liking a song called October Rust...I'm pretty sure that's it if I remember anyway. I was also questioning Unearth but I know some guys that are opening for them so I was most likely going. I really can't wait for Dark Funeral, Finntroll, Mushroomhead. I am pretty positive I wont need a ride there since it's so close but we can meet eachother in the line. I'm guesssing you'll be at the over 21 bar section?

You go to Croc Rock!? Dude how far a drive is it for you. I live 5 minutes from the place in west side Bethlehem. Wow it's a small world, well a small metal world which semi makes sense. I go there all the time for any metal show. I'm going to all the upcomign shows. Finntroll, Dark Funeral, Mushroomhead, and anything else. Dude a ride to Cannibal Corpse would be crazy.

well do to my diverse tastes in metal, which is almost every genre I am usually able to go to my local venua for a crazy show. So far I can see one band from Ozzfest, DAATH. An upcoming show at my local venue is Dark Funeral, Naglfar, and DAATH. I'd say I'm pretty lucky to see all 3 of these bands for the first time all at once and only 15 minutes from my place. Also at my local venue Finntroll is playing. I'm not a diehard fan or nothing but I've checked them out a couple years ago and I like their music so I'm going to see them live. I still want to see Behemoth, Nile, ChthoniC, 3 Inches Of Blood, and Lamb Of God. In October I'm hoping I can find my way to the Trocadero venue in Philadelphia because I want to see Cannibal Corpse. I don't really know what kind of metal you like o what bands but they're in my top favorite "legendary" metal bands along with Iron Maiden, Deicide, etc. Well I at least went to Ozzfest 05 but that's it.
