About Me
My husband and I think Sharon Osborne Kicks Ass becase she faught through her cancer and used her celebrity status to encourage other people to be aware. I went to a doctor after not going to one for a good while, the doctor found leukemia. Sharons fight encouragen my husband and I to fight it, I had a stem cell transplant in April of 2007 and could not attend Ozzfest 2007 because of it. My doctors say I can go this year so we can't wait for Ozzfest 2008 it has been too long!!!!

not to get you down, but my dad, who was 81, had a lot more wrong with him than the CML, which they found AFTER he already had one kidney out because it had a malignant tumor in it. the other one had four. the leukemia was under control so that's not what got him. the reaper just kinda caught up with dad cuz he slowed down . . . so keep moving forward.

what kind of leukemia? my dad had CML and was in remission when his kidneys decided to fail on him. he was up in the air about stem cell research until I showed him the studies being done for leukemia patients. hang in there. if I don't comment back soon it cuz I don't live on this site - just jonesing for the fest.
