Into

I am into martial arts (Shotojitsu my sensei calls it- it's a blend of jujitsu and shotokan karate.) I practice European sword fighting. I play bass, bagpipes, and am learning the didgeridoo.

Not Into

Radio friendly, key-of-C crap music and this lazy internet type where sentences and paragraphs are one and the same because no one knows how to use capital letters or punctuation that drives me nuts because its lazy lazy drives me nuts those posts are unreadable there a lot like this rant right here so you lazy typers- It makes you look stupid! C'mon! Seriously- are we truely that illiterate a society?

Five Things I can't Live Without

Is music a thing? It seems more of an ethereal concept than a thing, but number 1- music. I can't live without my chanter and a good reed. I can't live without my broadsword. And... let's see... My Amerikilt to wear when it's hot, and my heavy Colorado tartan kilt for when it's cold.

Favorite Music

Celtic (all types- from trad folk to modern Celtic rock) and progressive metal. Bands I like aside from the obvious (Oz and Black Label) include Dream Theater, Iron Maiden, Nightwish, and Lacuna Coil. Celtic bands- my favorite right now are Albannach (they have one of the best bagpipers in the world!) and Seven Nations. The Wicked Tinkers are rapidly coming into my consciousness as well.

    Yes--I saw Rossington Collins Band and LYNYRD SKYNYRD there. Its got to be one of the nicest outdoor venues around.

    Just shouting out to a fellow Irish and Scotsman. Co. is beautiful!!!! I was stationed at Ft. Carson from 1986--to--1989. I saw a lot of concerts out there in Denver and Co. Springs.
