About Me
With a hand full of lyrics and a vision to bring back a strong, female fronted, guitar driven hard rock band, Jennifer Rose began 2008 on a single-minded mission that already had label interest. After several twists and turns, Jennifer hired musician/producer Kevin Patrick (Blondie, keyboards, 2001-2008) to help create a 4-song demo that met her well defined musical concept. Released in April, 2008, and marketed by Jennifer herself, the demo EP can now be heard on 30+ radio stations in the US, UK, around Europe, Canada, Australia and Asia as well as radio and magazine interviews. Encouraged by industry interest, fan comments, plus various offers for distribution and live performances (US, UK and Asia), Jennifer recorded six additional songs of live performance oriented rock that has been compared to a modern Joan Jett, Lita Ford and AC/DC. The release date for the full length CD is late December, 2008. With a band of international tour hardened musicians behind her, the Jennifer Rose band is now in the studio rehearsing. Watch for this band everywhere in 2009. The material for this CD is based completely on the lyrics, ideas and musical direction of Jennifer Rose. The final songs were co-written and recorded at Lakehouse Music in New Jersey. Guest guitarist Jimi K Bones (Kix, Skin and Bones, Joan Jett, Blondie) recorded lead guitar in his own studio.
