I actually disagree with all of you. You can't just jump straight into metal unless you have an influence. I didn't have any family influences or many friends older than me when I was really young so Linkin Park was my first real into to rock. I think they're good, not my favorite any longer obviously but I do still appreciate them because they're what made me find out about Korn and it went from there...

Hybrid Theory was their only album actually worth a shit. I'm not big on the rap part but it is their best album and the only one worth the money
