I got to the show right when it was supposed to start, but they must've started 30 min early (I HATE when venues do that), so I only caught 2 songs by Bury Your Dead. Oh well. I've seen em a few times already. They're good. I was there for Nonpoint & MH anyway.
Nonpoint absolutely stole the show. I've seen them close to 25x, and I must say, even though they only had a 30-min set, this was one of the best np shows I've ever seen... possibly the best. The place was PACKED, and the crowd was going nuts for them. They have such great live energy. Before "Witness" Elias asked everyone to jump when the song kicks in... no pit. Now, seeing a band ask the crowd to do that is nothing original at all. However, the ENTIRE floor (and I mean every person) was jumping! It was an amazing sight... one of those brief concert moments I'll probably never forget. Then he said we should invade the White House that way (hopping). The crowd was also singing loud as hell to "The Truth" & "What a Day." np's setlist:
march of war
the truth
what a day
witness
in the air tonight (Phil Collins cover)
bullet with a name
Machine Head came out next and were amazing as always. That's pretty much all I have to say about that. Their setlist:
imperium
now I lay thee down
aesthetics of hate
old
halo
davidian
I considered leaving before Hellyeah to hang out w/ friends. I should have. They were OK, but they could not follow Nonpoint & Machine Head. I stayed for about half their set.

i hate to burst your bubble, but when i saw this show i illinois, i thought Nonpoint was the worst band there. their music was nu-metal rap garbage that didnt fit in with the rest of the music there.

I didn't see nonpoint because I was stuck in line in the fucking cold and rain, but I saw them open up for Sevendust a couple of years ago.
THey did get the crowd moving, but they didn't impress me much either.

I thought this show was amazing. the singer of nonpoint was actually talking to me during the set when he was on stage lol. MachineHead and HellYeah were crazy enough being in front row. I have never been pushed so hard against the gate. Chad Grey also jumped on me =] it was amazing until some kid crowd surfing kicked me in the back of the head and gave me a concussion. One of the craziest concerts I've been to, and I've been to a few lol
