Crime in Stereo, Dance Gavin Dance, and The Chariot opened. They were all OK, but really nothing to write home about.
Poison the Well came out next. I've seen 'em at least a dozen times, and this was BY FAR the best PTW show I've ever seen. Before they even began playing the floor was in a frenzy. It was like seeing 'em back in the old days... PACKED in a tiny club w/ no baracade. The setlist was AWESOME. They played a lot of songs that I haven't seen them play live in a LONG time, if ever. Before "12/23/93," Geoff said, "Alright Detroit, let's take it back to 1999." The place erupted after the 1st note. Then a few songs later he said that this show already topped the San Antonio date for the best date of the tour. Normally I don't like when bands say that b/c it's so canned, but I believe it this time. The crowd was NUTS! The pit was also especially crazy at the end of "Botchla." The setlist:
1. Loved Ones
2. Letter Thing
3. 12/23/93
4. Prematurito El Baby
5. Rings From Corona
6. The Realist
7. Naive Monarch
8. Zombies are Good for Your Health
9. Botchla
10. Nagiana
11. Nerdy
12. Turn Down Elliot
13. Artists Rendering of Me
